As the capital city of the United States of America, Washington DC is a vibrant city that offers history, culture, and a robust social scene. Students have enjoyed exploring historic neighborhoods such as Georgetown; visiting the Smithsonian museums; touring national monuments and the U.S. Capitol where congressional members meet; learning about the Supreme Court and Library of Congress, watching performances at the Kennedy Center, and attending cultural festivals and parades. Outside of the classroom, many students enjoy DC’s top restaurants and nightlife.
