Boston is not just one of America's oldest cities; it is also known as the Walking City, the Cradle of Liberty, Beantown and Titletown. Students at past classes have enjoyed visiting well-known historic locations such as Harvard Square, Freedom Trail, Bunker Hill Monument, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Past weekends have also included visiting the Mapparium, John F. Kennedy Museum, and Sports museum. Come spend a weekend with us to see the amazing things Boston has to offer!

Costs and Educational Hours

These 3-day weekend courses offers 36 hours (equivalent to 3 credits) for an all-inclusive price of $349 for each course, which includes tuition and registration, course materials, educational excursions including activities and transportation during class hours. Meals, housing and airfare are not included. 

Hours include pre-weekend assignments, post-weekend assignments, and a course evaluation. Check with your au pair agency regarding hours and credits, as requirements vary.  Also, scheduled activities may be subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances and may be different from previous weekends.
 

Classes are held at the following times:

Friday: (Check-in from 2:00 - 2:25 p.m.) Classes from 2:30 - 6:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

 

Note: To accommodate travel time between the airport and class, plan to arrive on a flight NO LATER than 1:00 pm on Friday and depart no earlier than 6:30 pm on Sunday.

Attendance is mandatory beginning on Friday with check-in, and does not end until Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Students are expected to attend the full weekend and complete all assignments to receive their Completion Letter. We understand emergencies and important scheduling conflicts can occur, so please contact the program coordinator as soon as possible if there is a situation that prevents you from meeting any of these requirements.

Housing & Transportation

Housing is NOT provided or arranged for students who attend a weekend course. However, we do have a partnership with Hostelling International Boston. If you would like to book with them for a discounted price, use code AUPA10 for 10% off plus waived membership fees.
