Costs and Hours
Receive up to 72 hours for a 6-day course for $975.
An additional late fee of $50 will apply after May 1.
We recognize this course is more expensive than our regular classes, but this price also includes 6 nights of accommodation in Hawaii. Flights are not included in this price, however, we will provide cost-saving ideas for airfare to registered students.
Your $975 covers:
6 nights of shared accommodations
5 breakfasts and 5 lunches (dinners on your own)
All local transportation costs (except airport transfers)
All class materials and supplies
Registration system fees
(Note: hours will include pre-assignments as well as some virtual meetings before the course week)
Tentative Class Schedule:
Check in on Sunday, June 9 OR Sunday June 16 at 5:30 pm
Sunday: 5:30 pm -7:00 pm
Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 8:30 am - 8:30 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Friday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
There may be some schedule changes based on your section.
There will be no classes on Saturday, however, your accommodation goes through Saturday morning.
Attendance is mandatory during the class times listed above.
Course will be held in Hilo, Big Island, HI and is offered in collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension

Check-in will be held at the lobby of Kilauea Military Camp on Sunday, June 9 (Sunday, June 16 for week 2)
Students should fly into the Hilo Airport (ITO) no later than 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 9 OR June 16. The linked document above gives important information about booking flights.
Unlike our other courses, housing is included as part of the course price. Because we will be traveling so much during the week, students are required to stay in the housing provided. For the first four nights, we will be staying in dorms at Kilauea Military Camp. The last two nights we will stay at Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. You may add your own bed instead of a shared bed at the hotel for an additional $80 when registering.
