ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
What better place to study Arts & Entertainment than in New York City? Students will have the chance to participate in classes and interactive workshops taught by local teaching artists. Topics include sketching and photography for Visual Arts students, and drama, dance, and musical theater for Performing Arts students (depending on staff availability). Step out of the classroom and try your hand at photography or filmmaking, visit well-known New York art galleries with Visual Arts or attend a performance with Performing Arts. The choice is yours depending on the track you sign up for! You'll leave this three-day weekend with a better understanding of how New York City's arts & entertainment scene has influenced the world.

Costs and Educational Hours
Both of these 3-day weekend courses offer 36 hours (equivalent to 3 credits) for an all-inclusive price of $399, which includes tuition and registration, course materials, admission to a museum (VA), performance (PA), activities, and transportation during class hours.
Hours include pre-weekend assignments, post-weekend assignments, and a course evaluation. Check with your au pair agency regarding hours and credits, as requirements vary. Also, scheduled activities may be subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances and may be different from previous weekends.
June Classes are held at the following times:
Fridays: (Check-in is at 1 p.m.) 1:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Sundays: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Note: To accommodate travel time between the airport and class, plan to arrive on a flight NO LATER than 11:00 am on Friday and depart no earlier than 7:30 pm on Sunday.
August Classes are held at the following times:
Fridays: (Check-in is at 1 p.m.) 1:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Sundays: 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Note: To accommodate travel time between the airport and class, plan to arrive on a flight NO LATER than 11:00 am on Friday and depart no earlier than 9:30 pm on Sunday.
Attendance is mandatory beginning on Friday with check-in, and does not end until Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Students are expected to attend the full weekend and complete all assignments to receive their Completion Letter. We understand
emergencies and important scheduling conflicts can occur, so please contact the program coordinator as soon as possible if there is a situation that prevents you from meeting any of these requirements.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS FOR AU PAIRS
Get the most out of your time in the United States by improving your English skills! Learn about American accents, cultural traditions, and travel tips - all while getting to explore the sights and history of New York City! Practice your listening and speaking skills with interesting classroom discussions and workshops, and strengthen your reading and writing skills with written assignments. And best of all, you'll get to practice everything you learn during the weekend in the heart of New York City!

Meals, housing and airfare are not included. Choose between two levels, based on your current English language skills.

Also, scheduled activities may be subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances and may be different from previous weekends.
In-Person Classes are held at the following times:

Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Sundays: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
