COURSES FILL UP QUICKLY, SO REGISTER EARLY!
What better place to study Arts & Entertainment than in New York City? Students will have the chance to participate in classes and interactive workshops taught by local teaching artists. Topics include sketching and photography for Visual Arts students, and drama, dance, and musical theater for Performing Arts students (depending on staff availability).
Step out of the classroom and try your hand at photography or filmmaking, visit well-known New York art galleries, or attend a performance: the choice is yours depending on the track you sign up for! You'll leave this three-day weekend with a better understanding of how New York City's arts & entertainment scene has influenced the world.

Costs and Educational Hours
Receive 36 educational hours (equivalent to 3 credit hours) for a 3-day weekend course in 2019 for $295 + $100 materials/activity fee (includes materials, 3 total meals, and admission to museums, shows, and activities) + $10 registration fee. In 2020, the all inclusive price for a 3-day weekend course will be $399.
Register for both courses at once (double weekends) in 2019 for $500, + $200 materials/activity fee + $15 registration fee, to earn 60 or 72 educational hours (equivalent to 6 credit hours). In 2020, the all-inclusive price for a double weekend package will be $699.
Note: hours include pre-assignments and course evaluation. Check with your au pair agency regarding hours and credits, as requirements vary.
Classes are held at the following times:
Fridays: 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (check-in is at 10:30 a.m.)
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Sundays: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Attendance is mandatory beginning on Friday, with check-in 10:30 am and classes starting at 11:00 am, and does not end until Sunday at 4:30 pm. If you are late to class or leave early on Sunday, you will not be eligible to receive your completion letter. Travel arrangements or work commitments are not accepted as excuses for missing class hours.

In general, classes will begin and end here. Performing Arts students may end at a different location on Saturday night, and both tracks will begin off-campus on Sunday morning.
Berkeley College is within walking distance from Grand Central Station. We recommend using public transit to get to class.
