🎓 Step 1:
Choose Your Course Type
All au pairs need to earn 6 academic credits (or 72+ hours) during their program year.
Pick the course format that fits your schedule, travel plans, and budget:

💻 Online Courses (3 or 6 credits)

Includes videos, reflections, and interactive lessons

Perfect if you prefer flexibility or can’t travel

You can combine a 3-credit in-person and a 3-credit online course to meet your full 6-credit requirement.
✅ Step 2:
Make Sure It Meets Your Agency Requirements
Our courses are accepted by most au pair agencies and meet U.S. Department of State requirements:

Accredited U.S. university partners

Earn college credit or continuing education units (CEUs)

Certificates, transcripts, or completion letters available

📅 Step 3:
Register
Once you choose your course:

Click the "Register" button

Complete a short form
-
Pay online using a credit card or your host family’s support
💼 Host families are required to pay:

$500 toward your education (Standard)
-
$1,000 if you are in the EduCare program
🚗 Many families also help with transportation costs for in-person classes.
📚 Step 4:
Learn & Have Fun

For in-person courses: You'll receive a full weekend schedule, housing info (if included), and packing tips

For online courses: You’ll receive login access and guidance to complete your work at your own pace
📄 Step 5:
Get Your Certificate
After completing your course, you’ll receive official proof of completion that you can submit to your agency:

Transcript or letter from the university (if applicable)
