Additional course details:
Students are responsible for their own transportation to the University of Hawaii at Manoa for check-in, and back to the airport when the course ends. Au Pair Weekend will provide all transportation for excursions during the course.
This course focuses on cultural awareness, building connections with others, and getting involved in your local community. Students will also explore Hawaiian culture through visits to important cultural sites.
We strongly encourage students to arrive in Hawaii one or two days before the course begins, or to stay a few days after it ends. Our course days are long--often 12 hours or more. Coming early or staying after gives you time to explore on your own. We will send your schedule one week before classes begin to help you plan.
*Scheduled activities may be subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances and may be different from previous weekends.
Au Pair Weekend Gives Back
When you join a course, you're part of something bigger. Au Pair Weekend donates to organizations that reflect the values woven into every weekend — environment, community, and culture.
