Interested in both Performing Arts and Visual Arts? This course lets you explore both in just one weekend!

Through a combination of lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive excursions, you'll discover the history of arts in the U.S. and explore how arts and entertainment can drive social change. In-person weekends also feature a live performance and visits to local art museums.

Collaborate creatively with your au pair classmates as you produce original artwork. Engage in discussions where your unique perspective enhances the conversation, deepening your understanding of creativity and the artistic process.

In-person workshops include photography, drama, street art, and filmmaking/content creation. Online workshops feature photography, dance, graphic design, and sketching.

Each location has its own unique focus:

• Miami: Immerse yourself in Miami’s vibrant street art, iconic landmarks, and dynamic Latin-inspired music scene. (60 or 72 hours / 6 credits)

• Seattle: Explore Seattle’s influential grunge music history, distinctive street art, and local landmarks. Offered as a combo with our Discover the US course. (60 or 72 hours / 6 credits)

• Online: Flexible, self-paced learning available in two formats:

  • 36 hours / 3 credits

  • 60 or 72 hours / 6 credits
